Traumatic Femoral Nerve Paralysis with multiple fracture of Pelvic bone

Abstract

|
A case of traumatic feomoral nerve paralysis due to hematoma on the inguinal region following pelvic bone fracture is reported with a brief review of the literature.
The cax was 36 years old male who complained marked swelling. tenderness over the ingninal region and limited motion of extension of the knee joint and meralgia paresthetica. The femoral nerve paralysis wan diagnosed clinically
Durias the admission it was relative weII recovered following oonaervative treatment. Few reports have been availble so far in this country on post-traumatic femoral aeve paralysis.
